  Disgraceful, I purchased some cakes March 2015, for some family and friends and the girl serving used her fingers touching the cakes whilst they were placed into small boxes. She then began to bite her nails when giving me the change. Not wishing to be rude or confrontation, I said nothing and simply went to the car park opposite the shop and deposited what I had just purchased straight into the rubbish bin. I don’t like wasting money. I would suggest that Looe Bakery is avoided at all cost. This is how deceases spread.

  Good little bakery in the centre of looe on fore street. Has a good selection of goods for same at reasonable prices. Service is good and nice products.

  I have been coming to Cornwall for as Iong as I can remember and before we left home friends and family asked us to bring back a few traditional Cornish pasties. We bought 4 pasties and an Eccles cake costing in excess of £13. Believe me, my illusion of Cornwall was shattered right there and then when I cut into a pasty and all that fell out were tiny squares of potato! It wasn't just the one either, the minted lamb actually had virtually NO meat in it at all but was heavily minted and you guessed it, tons of these tiny squares of potato! They went in the bin as we weren't about to shatter anyone else's illusion of Cornwall and we weren't about to eat a veggie pasty either! The Eccles cake was only half filled as well!! I would rather have eaten a petrol station Ginsters pasty and that's the truth! Scandalous! They should be ashamed of themselves!! Aren't pasties their bread and butter?!? Well, they had enough half empty ones in the window!
